Whitehall is bustling with individuals who fancy themselves as experts. I can attest to knowing a few who have never set foot in the establishment. As for the rumors circulating (much like Bullwinkle's "Mr. Know-it-all"), it’s said that the restaurant is on the brink of being sold, but that's far from the truth. It appears that some people are eager to have the inside scoop and revel in gossip to feel important. If you’re looking for the real story, we warmly invite you to come to the restaurant, enjoy a meal, and we'll gladly discuss our current status during your visit and end it with some coconut cake.

We’ve had to adjust our restaurant hours to better accommodate our staff and give our hardworking Chef Ratree a lighter workload. Our new hours are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., allowing guests to enjoy their meals without feeling rushed. While we know some local businesses will miss our lunch service, staffing challenges in both the kitchen and front of house made it difficult to continue. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our team, please stop by.

The boys are keeping busy with their own pursuits. Donald has reduced his hours here due to college and his internship at Whitehall Hospital, and we’re glad to see him on this exciting new career path. Deven, now a high school sophomore, is all about basketball, with practices and games filling much of his schedule. As for me, I’m tied up with projects that involve traveling to various job sites, keeping me on the go from time to time.
